Mr. Asit Kumar Chakravorty is the Managing Director and CEO of SFIL Finance PLC. Prior to joining in SFIL, he was the Chief Executive at ICB Capital Management Limited and General Manager at Investment Corporation of Bangladesh which is a state-owned Financial Institution of Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. During his tenure in ICB, he served in different key positions and gained comprehensive understanding on Investment, Credit Underwriting and regulatory compliance. Mr. Chakravorty completed the graduation and post-graduation in Statistics and MBA in Banking from University of Dhaka. He further honed his expertise by completing the Banking Diploma from the Institute of Bankers, Bangladesh (IBB). His professional career is decorated with numerous awards and notable professional accreditation.
